Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide proactive and strategic people leadership for engineering discipline project and program involvement.
  • •Lead the most complex structural engineering projects, including setting contributor expectations and overseeing budgets, performance, hours/expenses, and subcontractors.
  • •Drive technical aspects of contract negotiation, presentations, and meetings.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local engineering/design/construction laws, codes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Provide senior leadership for proposals, work scopes, pricing, budgets, and performance metrics; develop business contacts and pipeline growth.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or closely related discipline.
  • •15+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering, structural/civil and infrastructure design.
  • •CA Professional (Civil) Engineer license required or ability to obtain (multi-state preferred).
  • •Advanced proficiency with structural engineering principles and practices, including permitting and project work-related issues.
  • •Extensive bridge experience as a Structures Lead and Project Manager, including seismic analysis and design in high seismic geographies.
