Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and manage daily security operations, handling escalations and complex security incidents.
  • •Own critical/high-priority customer escalations, providing resolution strategies and maintaining customer confidence through incident calls.
  • •Analyze web traffic, attack patterns, and anomalous activities across customer environments; assist with mitigation planning and policy optimization for Cloud WAF and related security platforms.
  • •Lead troubleshooting for complex security incidents and collaborate with cross-functional teams including TAM, Professional Services, Sales Engineers, Threat Research, and Product Development.
  • •Mentor and onboard new security engineers; audit junior cases and maintain training materials, documentation, and internal runbooks while driving automation and process improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •Minimum 4+ years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, SOC Engineering, or related cybersecurity roles.
  • •Strong understanding of web application security, cloud security, and network security fundamentals.
  • •Hands-on experience with web technologies and protocols including HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, DNS, TCP/IP, REST APIs, JSON, and JavaScript.
  • •Experience analyzing security incidents, traffic behavior, and attack mitigation techniques.
