Key Responsibilities

  • •Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other shipping documents to support accurate classification.
  • •Determine and verify the correct HS Code and applicable customs duty/tariff treatment according to ZATCA, GCC tariffs, and Harmonized System rules.
  • •Verify product descriptions, materials, functions, quantities, weights, values, and countries of origin; identify prohibited or restricted goods and required approvals.
  • •Support preparation of customs declarations for import, export, re-export, transit, statistical, and bonded-zone movements using approved customs systems.
  • •Respond to classification queries, remarks, inspections, and document requests; maintain classification records and monitor regulatory/tariff changes.

Key Requirements

  • •High-school diploma or higher; diploma or bachelor’s degree in Customs, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
  • •Relevant experience in customs classification or customs-clearance operations.
  • •Good knowledge of HS Codes, ZATCA regulations, GCC customs tariffs, and customs documentation.
  • •Preferred experience with ZATCA, Fasah, or other customs platforms.
  • •Good Arabic and English communication skills and strong analytical accuracy and attention to detail.
