Job Summary

Build integrations between ArcGIS geospatial cloud and cloud-based BIM systems to enable seamless GIS–BIM workflows for asset design, construction, and operations. Design and implement RESTful APIs, ArcGIS Experience Builder TypeScript components/widgets, geoprocessing tools for BIM-to-ArcGIS migration, and real-time/batch data pipelines. Work with product owners and a multi-disciplinary team to construct scalable microservice pipelines and advise industry developers on extending ArcGIS for AEC/BIM.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement integration between ArcGIS geospatial cloud and cloud-based BIM systems (e.g., Autodesk Docs, Autodesk Platform Services, Autodesk Forma).
•Develop public and internal RESTful APIs to integrate these platforms.
•Build TypeScript components and widgets compatible with ArcGIS Experience Builder.
•Create geoprocessing tools to automate linking and data migration from BIM to ArcGIS.
•Design data pipelines and microservice pipelines to synchronize versioned BIM data with GIS.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 94,500 - 138,600 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of software product development experience.
•Demonstrated experience developing cloud infrastructure, backend services, and data pipelines.
•Exceptional understanding of at least two: TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, Bootstrap, React, Angular, or extensive experience with C++, .NET, and/or Python.
•Knowledge of Agile software engineering processes and proficiency with git.
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
