Job Summary

Shape the vision and execution of Dialpad’s next-generation Agentic AI platform, moving beyond copilots into autonomous workflow execution. You’ll own the architectural roadmap for agentic infrastructure, orchestration layers, memory, and evaluation/observability. Build and scale multi-modal AI agents for real-time voice reasoning and secure tool execution across enterprise workflows. Lead and mentor peers, set technical standards, and push new agent frameworks, retrieval, safety/policy guardrails, and LLM optimization into production.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the architectural roadmap and delivery of Agentic infrastructure, core orchestration layers, memory architectures, and evaluation/observability systems.
•Design and deploy scalable, multi-modal AI agents for autonomous support, real-time voice reasoning, and secure API tool execution across enterprise workflows.
•Serve as a technical anchor by raising the engineering bar, mentoring senior peers, and defining technical standards for an AI-native SDLC.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Applied Research to align technical execution with long-term business strategy.
•Research and implement emerging agent frameworks, LLM inference optimization, advanced retrieval systems, and safety/policy guardrails for production AI systems.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 224,500 - 251,500 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of relevant software engineering experience, with a proven track record shipping complex, large-scale systems as a Staff, Senior Staff, or Principal Engineer.
•Strong foundations in scaling distributed systems and production-grade infrastructure, evolving into applied AI, LLM platforms, and agentic architectures.
•Ability to lead and grow a small group of engineers.
•Experience with inference optimization and fine-tuning for LLM platforms.
•Hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, or AWS/Google agent ecosystems.
