Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee engineering design and project activities, ensuring adherence to approved models and plans.
  • •Mentor and manage junior team members, assigning and ensuring delivery of tasks.
  • •Perform comprehensive design work including 3D modelling, functional calculations, and production of manufacturing documentation.
  • •Apply expertise in handling fissile materials and use 3D CAD systems for data management.
  • •Contribute to all phases of project development from mechanical sketches to commissioning and project reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it; significant experience in mechanical engineering within nuclear, defence, petro-chemical, offshore, or related regulated industries; proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects from design to completion; deep understanding of sector standards, regulations and best practices; exceptional communication skills.
