Job Summary

Build and improve GPU profiling tools and APIs for next-generation AMD GPUs across Pre Silicon and Post Silicon activities. You’ll collaborate with architecture, driver, and runtime teams to enable accurate performance profiling, develop ROCprofiler-SDK components, and create automated test tools/scripts (with AI assistance). The role focuses on optimizing profiling accuracy, scalability, and overhead, integrating GPU architecture advancements into ROCm, and debugging profiling workflows to ensure reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with architecture, driver, and runtime teams to enable profiling for next-generation AMD GPUs in Pre Silicon and Post Silicon activities.
•Create test tools, test plans, and automated scripts (with AI tools) to validate new silicon features.
•Design, develop, and maintain ROCprofiler-SDK components for GPU performance profiling.
•Implement new features and APIs to enhance profiling capabilities for AI and HPC workloads.
•Optimize profiling tools and debug profiling workflows to improve accuracy, scalability, minimal overhead, and reliability.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
•Strong proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming.
•Experience with performance analysis tools or profiling frameworks.
•Familiarity with GPU programming models (HIP, OpenCL, or CUDA).
•Knowledge of Linux development environments; Windows experience is a plus.
