Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and maintain pipelines, compressors, auxiliary equipment, engines and turbines, and related equipment across compressor stations, pump stations, terminals, pipelines, and process plants.
  • •Start, stop, and operate engines and pumps within defined parameters, and ensure efficient and cost-effective performance of equipment.
  • •Diagnose and repair engines, turbines, pumps, seals, valves, and instruments.
  • •Install, repair, service, and maintain valves, pipe and pipeline appurtenances, corrosion control protection systems, measurement equipment, and storage well equipment.
  • •Maintain and support facilities and compliance, including pipeline right-of-way upkeep, safety/environmental issue identification, documentation, and training/oversight of third parties as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED; 2-year associate or vocational-tech degree in mechanical or instrumentation is a plus.
  • •Respond to callouts and emergencies after regular hours, including after dark, and be able to reach the station within 1 hour.
  • •Knowledge of compressor and pump station operations, gas treatment, storage facilities, process plant, gather transmission, and pipeline system operations.
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and other diagrams.
  • •Knowledge of safe handling practices for flammable gases, liquids, and high/low pressure systems.
