Job Summary

Own regulatory reporting controls for OTC and exchange-traded derivatives trade and transaction reporting. Partner with front-to-back stakeholders to implement, monitor, and reconcile controls, manage exception quality, and mitigate under/over/mis-reporting risks. Escalate issues, collaborate on remediation, and create KPI and risk indicator dashboards. Handle counterparty queries and manage audit/business inquiries within SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure key controls are in place to reduce regulatory risk across OTC and exchange-traded derivatives trade and transaction reporting.
•Maintain timely and accurate regulatory reporting obligations (HKMA, ASIC/MAS, MiFID, EMIR, SFTR, CFTC, CSA, SEC).
•Implement and monitor controls across exceptions, reconciliations, quality assurance, and pairing/matching to mitigate reporting errors.
•Escalate identified issues, collaborate with stakeholders on strategic solutions, and build management information dashboards with KPIs and risk indicators.
•Respond to counterparty queries, exchange information for accurate reporting, and manage audit/business queries within agreed SLA response times.

Key Requirements

•A degree in banking/finance/risk management with understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle and typical OTC derivative products.
•Strong foundation of risk management principles and understanding of controls frameworks, with awareness of global regulatory reporting requirements.
•Technical understanding of how systems propagate data, calculate risk, and produce regulatory reports, plus analytical skills for large datasets.
•Knowledge of ETL tools such as QlikView and Power BI.
•Coding skills in VBA, Python, and SQL; proficiency with project/workflow tools like JIRA, MS Projects, MS SharePoint, and Confluence.
