Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and continually assess project site activities to ensure HSE requirements are met per the Project HSE plan and HSEMS.
  • •Develop and implement field emergency response procedures and evacuation plans, ensuring safe evacuation procedures.
  • •Conduct HSE training and awareness programs, including incident prevention, first aid, safety awareness, daily toolbox talks, and site induction requirements.
  • •Identify hazards and unsafe conditions daily, raise observation reports, track corrective measures, and address/report violations with recommendations.
  • •Produce and maintain HSE reports and logs (daily/weekly/monthly), inspect safety equipment/mobile plant and fire extinguishers, and support incident reporting and resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of working experience, with 3 years in relevant HSE work.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards to ensure compliance with local and federal laws.
  • •Strong proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses and developing mitigation strategies.
  • •Ability to investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering, plus a Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates.
