Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical input into electrical design deliverables for complex multi-disciplinary water projects and support schedule and budget management to milestones.
  • •Prepare increasingly complex engineering deliverables, including electrical calculations, equipment/material recommendations, and design basis documentation.
  • •Lead technical deliverables such as single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, load schedules, MCC specifications, control philosophies, and control network architecture.
  • •Perform equipment sizing and electrical studies (e.g., transformers, generators, HV/LV cables, AC UPS, capacitor banks) and support indoor/outdoor lighting and illumination calculations.
  • •Work independently with minimal guidance, coordinate with internal/external teams, and lead design teams while performing check/review to quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •B.E. or M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (preferred) from a recognized university.
  • •16+ years of experience in wastewater/water industry.
  • •Design electrical distribution systems for low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems across concept, FEED, and detail design.
  • •Working knowledge of water and wastewater treatment process engineering, including pumping stations and desalination.
  • •Experience with electrical system studies, including load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and protection relay setting studies using system studies software.
