Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I in a 4–8 week onboarding program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, ending with a certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and proactively reach customers using CAMP and marketing tools. Cross-sell, support outside sales activities, work with business partners, meet production goals, and provide teller and platform support while following risk and compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and participate in outside sales activities, including community financial literacy events and business sales calls.
•Process teller transactions and participate in retail loan and bankcard processes, while adhering to risk policies, confidentiality, and required conduct/ethics standards.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Ability to develop comfort with sales activities focused on acquiring new consumer and small business customers and cross-selling to existing customers.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through NMLS.
