Job Summary

Support the sales organization with technical pre-sales activities and participation in sales calls for SASE solutions. Qualify leads from a technical perspective, explain product features/specifications/functionality and integration needs, and provide post-sales customer training. You’ll work as the main technical resource, applying strong networking and security knowledge across LAN/WAN/Internet services and related protocols to educate customers and address technical questions.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the sales organization with all technical matters in pre-sales and during sales calls.
•Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
•Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls and educate customers on features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
•Stay conversant with networking applications and solutions.
•Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.

Key Requirements

•5–8 years of technical pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
•5–8 years of experience administering LAN/WAN/Internet services.
•Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
•Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus.
•Strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
