Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform site walk-downs for data collection, I/O database preparation, and database partitioning from third-party DCS/PLC systems.
  • •Design and implement power plant controls and protection systems.
  • •Conduct process simulation and testing.
  • •Prepare for and participate in Design Review Meeting (DRM), Pre-FAT, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and cleanup after FAT.
  • •Verify and functionally test I/O interfaces to field devices and supervise control system installation, commissioning, and start-up.

  • •4 years bachelor’s degree in ECE, EEE, I&C, E&I.
  • •Proven 5–10 years in power plant process, project engineering and commissioning, and control tuning.
  • •Process knowledge of HRSG, Boiler, and BOP control systems.
  • •Control design, implementation, process sequencing, and protection philosophies for sub-critical/super-critical fossil-fired and combined cycle power plants.
  • •Proficiency with ISA and SAMA logic symbols, P&IDs, and electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
