Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform a variety of tasks supporting project staff for archaeological fieldwork.
  • •Gather and maintain scientific data records, including environmental sampling and related site documentation.
  • •Collect and enter data and apply technical principles under supervision.
  • •Assist with calculations, equipment setup/operation, and inspections for compliance with specifications.
  • •Maintain proper project documentation and records during field and client site activities.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate with 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent) in archaeological fieldwork.
  • •Valid US Driver's License and a pre-employment driving record verification.
  • •US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • •Familiarity with archaeological survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring field methodologies.
  • •Completion of an archaeological field school and/or experience with GPS/GIS is preferred.
