Job Summary

Lead the design and delivery of OKX’s Financial Products trading stack, including Spot, Margin, Perpetuals, Futures, and Options. Drive product strategy and cross-functional execution with Legal, Compliance, and local market teams to meet regulatory standards, while building data/monitoring capabilities and shaping 3–12 month roadmap in a high-volume crypto trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

•The plumbing of the exchange: manage order management, matching, margin, risk engine, lending/borrowing for spot and derivatives and ensure millions of trades route through daily.
•Design systems that clear the highest regulatory bar in finance by working directly with Legal, Compliance, and local market teams.
•Outlearn the competition by talking to traders and evaluating competing systems to set leadership directions across crypto and TradFi.
•Build the data and monitoring layer to provide situational awareness of the stack and broader market, detecting drift or failures early.
•Decide what to build next (3–12 months) based on product lifecycle, competitive landscape, and capacity, then ship from spec to launch with cross-functional alignment.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics or computer science
•5+ years experience in building sophisticated backend systems in either crypto or Traditional Finance
•AI native skillset to automate workflows and accelerate shipping

•fluency in English and Mandarin for cross-team collaboration
