Key Responsibilities

  • •Create parts, assemblies, and layouts in Creo Parametric in collaboration with Engineering.
  • •Produce design documentation and supporting documentation using computer design and product life cycle management systems.
  • •Apply technical design knowledge across areas such as machine design, castings/fabrication, sheet metal, tolerance analysis, and related HVAC product systems.
  • •Translate written/verbal instructions into drawings of HVAC products and prepare sketches, 2D and 3D engineering drawings, and common computations.
  • •Manage project schedules and coordinate tasks for assigned projects under close direction of senior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in lieu of a degree or an Associate’s Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • •Experience using SolidWorks, Creo Parametric, Creo Schematics, Inventor, or ProEngineer.
  • •Experience coordinating and directing project planning and scheduling.
  • •Working knowledge of design and documentation practices and standards (including drafting standards and processes).
  • •Ability to recognize and recommend solutions for design or product configuration problems and maintain accuracy in assignments.
