Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and supervise marine workforce, facilities, and equipment for safe transfer of materials between vessel and dock.
  • •Monitor departmental production and maintenance and ensure production objectives are met with EHS, customer requirements, and quality standards.
  • •Assign crew members to daily duties and advise terminal management on progress and required strategy adjustments.
  • •Develop, instruct, and motivate the workforce in compliance with KM standards; conduct daily pre-shift safety meetings and employee training.
  • •Track employee tasks, review/sign off on paperwork, write daily production reports, and track KPI’s.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; college degree desirable.
  • •Valid driver’s license required.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain TWIC Security clearance is required.
  • •Minimum five years of successful work experience in the terminalling industry specializing in stevedoring of vessels.
  • •At least three years in a lead position or higher capacity; demonstrate effective verbal and written communications to a diverse workforce.
