Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain poultry to a high standard, ensuring fresh water, proper diet, and a clean, healthy environment.
  • •Prevent and respond to pain, injury, or disease through preventative measures and rapid diagnosis/treatment.
  • •Follow all hygiene and strict biosecurity rules, including PPE and visitor showering procedures.
  • •Collect and record high-quality hatching egg collections accurately and maintain farm records (e.g., temperature, mortality).
  • •Keep house hygiene and nest boxes clean and in good working order, and adhere to farm health and safety rules.
