Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the development and delivery of safety assurance strategies across rail and transit projects.
  • •Produce and/or review safety assurance deliverables including Safety Plans, Safety Cases, and Hazard Logs.
  • •Undertake hazard identification and risk assessment activities such as HAZID, HAZOP, and risk workshops.
  • •Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
  • •Contribute to Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) or Independent Competent Person (ICP) activities and support safety-focused integration, testing, validation, and commissioning.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in rail and transit safety assurance across one or more disciplines such as signalling, infrastructure, rolling stock, electrification, or operations & maintenance.
  • •Familiarity with relevant safety standards and frameworks (e.g., CENELEC, CSM-RA, CMREA, IEC standards or equivalent).
  • •Experience with Independent Safety Assessment (ISA), auditing, or compliance activities.
  • •Involvement in independent quality activities such as witnessing, trial running, testing, validation, or verification.
  • •Understanding of system safety lifecycle and hazard management processes.
