Job Summary

Support the MLRO in strengthening the AML/CFT compliance framework for UAE and virtual asset requirements, aligned with UAE laws, FSRA guidance, and FATF expectations. Coordinate with free zone and federal regulators on inspections, audits, and information requests. Oversee transaction monitoring alerts, investigate suspicious activity, draft STRs/SARs via goAML, and help build automated monitoring and compliance training.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the MLRO in implementing, maintaining, and enhancing the AML/CFT compliance framework in line with UAE laws and regulatory guidance.
•Assist with FATF and virtual asset-specific compliance expectations and support ongoing compliance requirements.
•Oversee transaction monitoring alerts (fiat and on-chain), investigate unusual or potentially suspicious activity, and support market surveillance.
•Draft Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) for MLRO review and submission to the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit via goAML.
•Support AML/CFT policy and control updates, enhance automated monitoring systems, and deliver compliance training and awareness sessions.
