Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the project team, consulting engineers, and contractors through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning for power-specific electrical scope items.
  • •Collaborate with the multi-discipline SpaceX Construction team to execute engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning for critical facilities projects.
  • •Provide detailed electrical design and specifications for equipment and systems including electrical power distribution, switchgear/MCCs, lighting, UPS units, generators, automatic transfer switches, and grounding.
  • •Support facility technicians by troubleshooting and providing engineering support for electrical equipment, controllers, and facility electrical components and systems.
  • •Ensure electrical designs and installations conform to applicable codes and coordinate electrical installations/maintenance with local electrical utilities personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline.
  • •6+ years of professional experience designing and/or building commercial or industrial power systems.
  • •Ability to work onsite at the Redmond, WA and Woodinville, WA facilities (remote work not considered).
  • •Valid driver's license and ability to perform hands-on work in various environments, including tight quarters.
  • •Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed, with ability to travel as needed.
