Job Summary

Lead global category strategy for HR Services, specifically the benefits category, within Rio Tinto’s Global Indirect Procurement team. Own the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program, develop negotiation and communication plans, and use spend and market analysis to identify improvement opportunities. Partner with senior internal stakeholders, sourcing specialists, legal, finance, and business SMEs to deliver end-to-end sourcing to contract outcomes and ensure compliant, well-governed implementations.

•Develop and lead comprehensive global category management strategies and agreements for the HR Services benefits category.
•Manage Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and strengthen supplier partnerships to create value for Rio Tinto and supply partners.
•Research and maintain category strategy knowledge, including spend analysis and market analysis, to identify improvement opportunities.
•Coordinate end-to-end source-to-contract work with sourcing specialists, legal, finance, business partners, and relevant SMEs.
•Create and execute negotiation strategies and communication plans, and ensure robust governance through processes like risk mitigation, change management, and innovation.

•Significant experience and a demonstrated career in category management within a global organization.
•Strong knowledge of procurement practices and responsibilities.
•Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrated experience leading contract negotiations.
•Excellent analytical skills, including gathering/analyzing market and spend data to develop and implement category strategies and annual initiatives plans.
•Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
