Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the exploration team in meeting quarterly goals for production, sample throughput, exploration/discovery, and cost control.
  • •Perform measurements on diamond drill core (recovery, rock quality, and other factors).
  • •Support core logging activities including loading/unloading boxes, washing core, organizing, and photographing core.
  • •Prepare core samples by splitting, cutting, or bagging whole core; maintain sample integrity using sampling best practices.
  • •Operate equipment as needed (e.g., forklift, skid-steer, backhoe, bulldozer) and perform general maintenance in the logging facility, including QA/QC samples and inventory management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 28 - 30 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • •Previous experience in a core lab or mining environment preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
  • •Excellent safety record and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • •Able to meet physical demands (lifting up to 60 pounds) and pass a physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
