Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide birth doula care to clients in Loula’s network.
  • •Complete Loula’s interest form and screening process to be invited to an introductory call.
  • •Participate in onboarding requirements such as credentialing and related administrative setup for California Medicaid and commercial insurance.
  • •Use Loula’s referral/matching program to receive client referrals rather than relying on cold outreach.
  • •Maintain your independent contractor practice while partnering with Loula on billing, payment, and insurance verification administration.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Completed 16 hours of birth doula training and attended 3 births as a doula, OR 5 years of experience as a doula with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •If you don’t yet have CPR, HIPAA, liability insurance, or the letters of recommendation, you can still reach out for support setting them up.
