Key Responsibilities

  • •Process immigration cases and manage records by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate case files and related documentation.
  • •Update Alien Files (A-files) and ICE systems to reflect accurate case status, and enter data into ICE systems in compliance with agency protocols.
  • •Coordinate docket activities with EOIR and USCIS, including scheduling and facilitating interviews, hearings, removals, and case updates with ICE officers.
  • •Prepare removal and post-removal documentation, including travel information, ICE Air scheduling/manifest(s), detention release forms, and property inventories.
  • •Maintain compliance through case tracking, report generation/monitoring dashboards, and ensure proper case closeout in ICE data systems and transfer to the National Record Center.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an accredited associate’s or bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline, or have at least one year of directly related industry experience.
  • •Have prior experience and/or training reviewing law enforcement or immigration/detention documentation, including A-files, DHS databases, or conducting immigration/detention-related interviews.
  • •Must be able to meet all health requirements and pass pre-employment and random drug tests and a medical examination.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and obtain/maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance.
  • •High school diploma (GED acceptable); be proficient in reading/writing/speaking fluent English and able to follow and document written/verbal orders and policies.
