Key Responsibilities

  • •Build dbt test coverage across staging, intermediate and mart layers, including business-rule tests for collections logic.
  • •Perform source-to-warehouse reconciliation between MongoDB/telephony/client files and BigQuery, including drift/orphan detection.
  • •Own freshness, volume, and schema-drift monitoring for critical tables with clear brokenness definitions.
  • •Validate inbound client files and run report/dashboard QA so dashboard and client metrics reconcile to the warehouse.
  • •Lead pre-release QA of new dbt models/metrics and manage the data incident process from detection to fix.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years in data quality, analytics engineering, BI QA, or a data analyst role with heavy quality ownership.
  • •Strong SQL (CTEs, window functions, incremental patterns) and awareness of query cost; BigQuery/GoogleSQL preferred.
  • •Python for validation scripts and automation (pandas or equivalent).
  • •Git-based workflow with branches, PRs, and code review.
  • •Investigative temperament and clear written communication to explain data problems and root causes.
