Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute manufacturing from initial prototyping through large full-scale production.
  • •Partner with design engineers to drive DFM best practices and support the design-to-prototype-to-rate production transition.
  • •Own manufacturing documentation and process flows (e.g., MBOMs, work instructions) for scalable product group hardware builds.
  • •Advise on manufacturing quality management and business application programs; collaborate with internal customers and manufacturing planning for capacity actions.
  • •Develop production and test methodologies, implement best practices, analyze metrics for continuous improvement, and travel to suppliers/partner sites to source and resolve production issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a technical field preferred such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
  • •1-5 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
  • •Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
  • •A mission-assurance mindset with strong quality and attention to detail.
  • •Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when needed, with regular travel across locations; eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
