Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and keep up with technology developments with internal teams and equipment manufacturers.
  • •Support pre-sales activities, including educating internal teams and customers and proposing technical solutions.
  • •Prototype and model solutions or proofs of concept.
  • •Contribute to customer solution design by specifying laser network segments and interfacing with other system components.
  • •Specify Airbus Defence & Space component evolutions, maintain technical documentation, and provide support/expertise to design and system IVQ teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree (or equivalent) in computer networks with specialization in laser and optoelectronic optical systems.
  • •Experience with complex network environments such as telecom or military operators, or extended WANs in large organizations or OIVs.
  • •Ability to design and implement technical solutions delivered to customers.
  • •Knowledge of laser transmission issues and classic IP networks.
  • •Notions of complex systems engineering, with autonomy and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
