Key Responsibilities

  • •Design instrumentation control automation based on international standards for UK region.
  • •Prepare ICA deliverables including design basis, P&ID, control philosophy, PLC GA, wiring and schematic diagrams, I/O list, loop diagram, instrument list, and instrument datasheets.
  • •Perform instrumentation sizing calculations (e.g., flow meter).
  • •Support global multi-disciplinary teams on Water/Wastewater projects and coordinate with designers, civil, electrical, mechanical, and process engineers.
  • •Review vendor drawings and guide/provide technical inputs for equipment/trench/tray layouts from a technical/quality perspective.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited university, with 7–12 years of experience.
  • •Relevant consultancy experience in instrumentation control automation (ICA) design for the water sector.
  • •Good working knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and related engineering works (e.g., pumping stations, water treatment works).
  • •Computer literacy in MS Office, with essential understanding of AutoCAD.
  • •Very good written and oral communication skills, with self-motivation and interest to learn and add value.
