Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and manage small project teams on small projects.
  • •Serve as discipline lead engineer on mid-to-large size projects, providing technical direction and specialised input.
  • •Present technical solutions to clients and liaise with clients, architects, cost consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • •Perform quality control reviews of work produced by junior engineers and participate in technical proposal development.
  • •Manage engineering budgets and schedules for large projects, including tender support, contractor pre-qualification inputs, and site inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree educated in mechanical or building services engineering (or related), ideally Chartered (or qualifications leading to this).
  • •Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical building services design.
  • •Strong technical understanding of building services, including heating/cooling pipework, ventilation systems, and control systems.
  • •Experience using building services engineering software, including Autodesk Revit, and the ability to lead projects designed in Revit.
  • •Ability to mentor and support engineers/technicians, with experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams and managing project/client delivery within budget and program.
