Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead incident response for product-level security events, focusing on AI-specific threats such as prompt injection, model abuse, agent hijacking, and data exfiltration.
  • •Integrate incident response into AI product pipelines by working with teams shipping Cortex features, Snowflake Intelligence, and AI-powered developer experiences.
  • •Develop and codify AI abuse response strategy, including detection, containment, and remediation playbooks for LLM misuse and AI-assisted attacks.
  • •Ensure incident response readiness across the AI product stack, addressing technical debt so new Cortex and agentic architectures meet IR requirements from the ground up.
  • •Build and automate response capabilities and tooling to accelerate detection and response at Snowflake scale across AI operational infrastructure.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 176,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in information security, primarily in incident response, security engineering, or product/application security.
  • •Direct experience serving as incident commander for product-focused security incidents.
  • •Experience leading or actively building an application or security engineering program with a point of view on securing AI/ML systems.
  • •Threat modeling and security testing across AI attack surfaces, including prompt injection and indirect injection.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
