Build and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and recommending suitable deposit, loan, and other banking products. Educate customers on how to optimize online, mobile, and ATM banking, maintain product/technology knowledge, and follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
•Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships using pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up, and referrals from customers, bank colleagues, and partners.
•Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and strengthen internal partnerships.
•Educate customers on optimizing their use of bank technology, including online, mobile, and ATM banking.
•Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology, and policies, and adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory procedures.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales, or business-to-business sales experience, or military service in a related administration/contracting/civil affairs role.
•Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year in customer service and sales in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, or business-to-business sales (preferred).
•Ability to build, deepen, and retain customer relationships.
•Demonstrated acumen in banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, customer service, and presentation skills.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort using technology such as mobile and online banking services.
