Job Summary

Build and improve the finance systems that run Whatnot’s order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, planning, and close workflows. Translate business needs into systems requirements, configure and administer NetSuite and related tools, support integrations across the tool stack, and automate manual processes to reduce risk. Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, Revenue, Tax, IT, and others to deliver scalable reporting and reliable financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Improve core finance workflows across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, planning, and close by gathering requirements and mapping current processes.
•Support configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing administration of NetSuite and related finance tools with internal teams and external vendors.
•Reduce manual work and operational risk by building automations, improving workflows, and documenting processes.
•Improve data quality, system reliability, reporting inputs, and information flow between finance applications.
•Drive projects from problem definition through rollout, including tradeoffs, testing, change management, stakeholder communication, and post-launch iteration.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 131,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience working with business systems or finance systems in a fast-moving business.
•Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, close, revenue, procurement, or FP&A.
•Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Zip configuration, including workflows, saved searches, roles, permissions, and forms.
•Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into systems solutions through testing and launch.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
