Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with planning and executing individual and group recreation programs for residents.
  • •Encourage resident participation in all activities and coordinate monthly special events.
  • •Organize outings within the local city or town and support transportation for outside activities in the Primrose van.
  • •Decorate the facility for special occasions and distribute monthly life enrichment schedules to residents.
  • •Maintain the resident volunteer program and acknowledge residents’ birthdays, anniversaries, and special accomplishments.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •Activity Certification is preferred.
  • •Minimum of one year working with senior population preferred (previous experience considered).

  • •Ability to speak effectively to groups and use basic computer skills (Microsoft Publisher, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
