Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive and respond to inbound calls from investment professionals, plan sponsors, and members across a variety of topics.
  • •Interpret and apply changes/enhancements to annuity products using daily change communications, and use consultative questioning to uncover unstated needs.
  • •Document conversations and follow documentation processes to deepen customer/member relationships.
  • •Follow FINRA and other professional licensure requirements, company policies, plan documents, and state/local laws to maintain compliance.
  • •Analyze customer issues for first-time final resolution; escalate to internal partners when needed and incorporate lean methodology into daily interactions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (undergraduate degree in finance, business administration, insurance, economics, or communications preferred).
  • •One year of experience in customer service or sales-related occupations.
  • •Be able to obtain required federal and/or state licenses/registrations within required timeframes (and may require a credit check if a license is required).
  • •Desirable designations include ChFC and CLU; FINRA Series 6 and/or 63 are preferred and may be required depending on assignment.
  • •Strong knowledge of insurance products and the sales process, plus excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with computers/common office software.
