Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership to safely execute planned shutdown activities in line with Wood’s responsibilities and scope of work.
  • •Ensure accountability for delivery of project/shutdown scope to the approved schedule completion date.
  • •Lead team members to support best-practice delivery of assigned tasks.
  • •Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and work practices/procedures.
  • •Participate in estimating shutdown activities and in developing schedules and work packs to meet safety and quality standards on time.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous supervisory experience in a similar role within the Energy, Resources and Industrial industries, with Oil Refinery experience highly regarded.
  • •Solid experience leading teams with people leadership, managing conflict, problem solving, project management, and change management.
  • •Thorough knowledge and advocacy of workplace HSE behaviours, systems, and procedures.
  • •Good understanding of Quality Assurance systems and procedures.
  • •Must have current Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications (or be able to obtain them in a timely manner).
