Job Summary

Lead safe execution of planned shutdown activities for the 2026 Ampol Turnaround at Wood’s Lytton site. Provide on-site leadership while reporting to T&I Leads and Superintendents, accountable for delivering shutdown scope to schedule, and for implementing productivity and efficiency improvements. You’ll coordinate work packs and schedules to meet safety and quality standards, support estimation activities, and ensure strong workplace health, safety, and quality practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership to safely execute planned shutdown activities in line with Wood’s responsibilities and scope of work.
•Ensure accountability for delivery of project/shutdown scope to the approved schedule completion date.
•Lead team members to support best-practice delivery of assigned tasks.
•Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and work practices/procedures.
•Participate in estimating shutdown activities and in developing schedules and work packs to meet safety and quality standards on time.

Key Requirements

•Previous supervisory experience in a similar role within the Energy, Resources and Industrial industries, with Oil Refinery experience highly regarded.
•Solid experience leading teams with people leadership, managing conflict, problem solving, project management, and change management.
•Thorough knowledge and advocacy of workplace HSE behaviours, systems, and procedures.
•Good understanding of Quality Assurance systems and procedures.
•Must have current Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications (or be able to obtain them in a timely manner).
