Job Summary

Own the end-to-end planning, delivery, and operations hand-off of technical infrastructure for Etched facilities—from chip-related lab spaces through data center support. Bridge internal product teams with mission-critical engineering environments, managing scope, timelines, budgets, vendor design reviews, constructability, commissioning, and SOP/MOP development while driving quality, performance trending, and troubleshooting through root-cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Own project scope, timeline, and budget for new builds and retrofit infrastructure projects to reduce cost and shorten timelines.
•Lead end-to-end design and construction management for lab and rack facility infrastructure, including site assessments and vendor design/constructability reviews.
•Troubleshoot system/equipment issues and perform root cause analysis, managing vendors through remediation and design changes.
•Drive RFI/RFQ processes, capital requests, and proposals while managing concurrent projects with competing priorities.
•Own project quality through commissioning and technical operations hand-off, including SOP/MOP development and system performance trend analysis.

•5+ years of experience in critical facility electrical/mechanical design, operations, or technical project construction management.
•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
•Direct experience with critical facility projects, including reading/interpreting construction drawings across disciplines.
•Experience across both new and retrofit projects, with internal and external stakeholder management.
•Demonstrated experience designing, constructing, operating, or maintaining mission-critical facilities (data center or high-tech lab preferred) plus knowledge of local/regional building codes.
