Key Responsibilities

  • •Escort defendants to and from court, cells, and other court areas, ensuring security and safety during movement
  • •Monitor and supervise detainees during court sessions to maintain security and wellbeing
  • •Maintain discretion and confidentiality of information discussed in court proceedings and personnel interactions
  • •Ensure detainees have access to food and drink and accommodate dietary requirements
  • •Collaborate with court staff, law enforcement and legal professionals to ensure smooth court operations

Key Requirements

  • •At least two years remaining on your current visa (visa requirement for employment)
  • •Have lived in the UK for at least one year, as vetting process requires a counter-signatory

  • •Be reasonably fit with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and care
  • •Completion of a 5 1/2 week training course and willingness to work various early/late shifts (rota basis)
