Job Summary

Coordinate and administer OH&S program activities and projects across assigned Southern Ontario territories, partnering with business leaders to strengthen day-to-day safety culture. Serve as a key point of contact for employee safety concerns, support safety training and culture change initiatives, maintain compliance with OHSA-related requirements and investigations, and provide guidance during JHSC meetings. Conduct site audits, monitor loss control, and travel to onsite construction projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the point of contact for employee concerns regarding the Health and Safety program and support development of a positive safety culture.
•Facilitate and maintain safety culture change programs, Grass Roots projects, and other required training programs.
•Support ongoing maintenance and compliance for quality standard, health and safety assessments, MOL investigations, WSIB return to work plans, and incident investigations.
•Work with stakeholders and the OH&S team to update and deploy SOPs and regular safety alerts.
•Conduct site audits, monitor loss control initiatives, and provide guidance and support during JHSC meetings while reporting compliance breaches.

Key Requirements

•Post-secondary diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety Management or Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
•5+ years of experience in a similar role; manufacturing or construction experience is an asset.
•Working knowledge of the OHSA and associated regulations.
•CRSP designation (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) is an asset.
•Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
