Key Responsibilities

  • •Support monthly financial close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and account reconciliations.
  • •Prepare and review monthly and quarterly journal entries, including accruals, inventory adjustments, FX revaluations, prepaid schedules, PPV, and overhead analysis.
  • •Perform inventory reconciliations and support material costing and related gain/loss postings.
  • •Support inventory audits, including review of obsolete inventory reserves.
  • •Maintain SOX compliance and assist with audit schedules/PBC requests while developing and improving accounting reports and processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
  • •2+ years of accounting experience in general ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, or related accounting functions.
  • •Knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
  • •Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Windows-based applications.
