Collaborate across Clinical Ops, Payer Ops, Customer Experience, Product, and Engineering to streamline workflows and help test AI-powered billing automation that improves the patient payment experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a high volume of patient-facing and internal billing questions, including denials, patient responsibility questions, and insurance coverage verifications.
•Process claims end-to-end via a clearinghouse and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth billing experience for patients and providers.
•Streamline RCM processes by proposing automation or new tools, optimizing workflow steps, and maintaining consistent execution.
•Support ad-hoc RCM projects, including payer-specific billing efforts and new service line expansions.
•Develop and maintain SOPs for RCM workflows and partner with Product and Engineering to test and optimize AI-powered billing tools.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience in a revenue cycle, medical billing, or healthcare operations role.
•Familiarity with insurance billing workflows, including claim submission, denial management, ERA reconciliation, and payer communications.
•Patient-first communication skills, able to de-escalate billing concerns while keeping things moving.
•Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through to complete work end to end.
•Energized by technology and automation, including interest in using AI to make billing smarter.
