Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide age-specific, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
  • •Assist with health history interviews and pediatric physical assessments.
  • •Assist with unit-specific procedures (aerosol treatment, Bili Check, circumcision, enteral feeding tube insertion, HbA1c testing).
  • •Support vaccine administration, pediatric visual screenings, and collection of specimens (nasopharyngeal swabs, blood cultures).
  • •Participate in JCIA mandatory education, unit CQI activities, staff meetings, and ensure safe, organized patient care and accurate documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in nursing (minimum three years full-time) or degree in Nursing with registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia; UAE nationals may be exempted from certain requirements
  • •Must hold a valid License/Registration to practice in home country and/or country of last employment (where applicable)
  • •Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in pediatrics nursing
  • •Must hold a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • •Bachelor's degree in nursing (minimum of three years full-time course duration) or degree in Nursing (minimum two years) and Registration as RN from specified countries
