Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis using computer-based programmes to support potable, surface and wastewater system studies.
  • •Conduct technical and feasibility studies for alternative solutions for potable, foul, surface and attenuation requirements.
  • •Produce designs of water infrastructure including pump systems and pipe networks, including Designer’s Risk Assessment documentation.
  • •Create sketches, models, and check and consolidate final working drawings.
  • •Work with the team on technical work and site/project work, including site visits as opportunities arise.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent).
  • •MEng in Civil/Structural or a Water Engineering related MSc (civils) is an advantage.
  • •Water-related modules and relevant work experience are advantageous.
  • •Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and good report writing skills.
  • •Willing to work towards professional qualifications such as ICE & CIWEM, with demonstrable interest in water projects.
