Job Summary

Support plant operation and reliability improvement as part of the Morris Site Reliability Group. Apply data analysis to address repetitive failures affecting capacity, quality, cost, and regulatory compliance. Provide technical expertise across projects for new assets and modifications, contribute to specifications and commissioning plans, and participate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis. Help define and refine maintenance plans using preventive and predictive/non-destructive testing, including Safety Instrumented Systems and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

•Apply data analysis to develop engineering solutions for repetitive failures impacting plant capacity, quality, cost, and regulatory compliance.
•Provide technical support/expertise in electrical discipline during design, installation, and modification stages to minimize life cycle cost and maximize asset availability.
•Develop specifications, commissioning plans, and acceptance/inspection criteria for equipment and technical MRO/maintenance service providers.
•Lead or participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis, and manage risk across environmental health and safety, asset capability, quality, and production objectives.
•Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine asset maintenance plans using preventive and predictive/non-destructive testing, including Safety Instrumented Systems through Process Hazard Analysis inputs.

Key Requirements

•BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical process, or power generation industries.
•Understanding of business drivers, management of change requirements, reliability processes, and maintenance workflow.
•Basic proficiency with industry codes and standards such as IEEE, ISA, NFPA, and NEC.
•Basic proficiency in areas including instrumentation/measurement, low voltage power distribution and controls, and PLC maintenance/programming.
