Job Summary

Drive a ready-mix concrete truck equipped with a concrete mixer to deliver materials to construction sites and customers around the Pasco area. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, follow dispatch instructions and applicable laws, and monitor gauges while operating safely. Handle customer service aspects such as collecting payments, checking delivery tickets for instructions, ensuring product quality, and maintaining accurate records and required logs in line with DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and report maintenance/repair needs.
•Operate the ready-mix concrete truck safely to deliver to job sites per dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
•May add materials (fiber, color, or other additives) to the concrete mix and ensure delivered product quality (e.g., slump).
•Maintain communication with the dispatcher and follow delivery ticket instructions; load materials safely and obtain required signatures.
•Maintain operator logs/forms/records per company policy and DOT regulations, including written reports of problems or repairs as needed.

Key Requirements

•Hold a current Class A or B CDL with self-certification of non-excepted interstate and a current DOT medical card.
•Ability to operate manual transmission.
•Safety-minded with good performance, attendance, and punctuality.

•Ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
