Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with New Product Development teams to ensure engineering drawing requirements are accurate and supplier expectations are clearly communicated.
  • •Coordinate with New Product Introduction teams so suppliers are involved in developing and reviewing specifications to support design for manufacturability.
  • •Investigate alternate manufacturing processes using project management and quality tools to improve cost, quality, reliability, and outcomes.
  • •Support supplier selection by helping develop a supply base aligned to competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology.
  • •Assist with supplier technical audits, performance evaluation, continuous improvement, and quality issue resolution using root-cause and corrective action; perform production assessments for serial readiness.
