Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform quality assurance and quality controls for avionics software deliverables in compliance with DO-178B/ED-12 objectives.
  • •Provide technical support for process, methods, and tools used by Avionics Software teams.
  • •Maintain and update the Plan for Software Aspects of Certification (PSAC) and ensure conformity of the Software Quality Assurance Plan (SQAP).
  • •Conduct internal reviews and verify documentation, source code, test files, and other life-cycle data for accuracy and correctness to prepare EASA external reviews.
  • •Perform root cause analysis for software anomalies to improve development methods and ensure consistency of certification records, including configuration management verification.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with embedded software development, including specification, architecture design, coding, test, and integration.
  • •Experience developing and verifying critical real-time embedded software.
  • •Knowledge of applying DO-178 on projects.
  • •Ability to verify the consistency, completeness, and accuracy of software quality documents and life-cycle data.
  • •Strong autonomy and willingness to become a method-quality person.
