Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and deliver high-quality lessons characterized by intellectual rigour, engagement, and creativity.
  • •Differentiate and adapt teaching to support each child’s academic and personal development.
  • •Create and maintain an inclusive classroom culture and a stimulating, well-resourced learning environment.
  • •Use formative and summative assessment practices to track achievement and inform planning.
  • •Provide pastoral care and uphold safeguarding, child protection, and pupil welfare standards; communicate with parents and maintain records.

Key Requirements

  • •Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE or other teaching qualification that provides QTS.
  • •Minimum three years teaching experience and familiarity with the National Curriculum of England and IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels as appropriate.
  • •A clean criminal record check, including International Child Protection Check (ICPC) from the UK or appropriate checks from relevant countries of residence/work.
  • •A proven commitment to safeguarding children and understanding of safeguarding procedures.
  • •Prior teaching experience essential, preferably in leading independent schools.
