Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure housekeeping staff actions directly/indirectly deliver superior medical treatment care, compassion, and understanding for every patient served at NMC Hospitals and Clinics.
  • •Maintain cleaning and decontamination processes according to approved procedures and conduct continued area checking to ensure no area is missed.
  • •Provide in-service training for newly hired housekeeping staff and deliver monthly continuing education on updated technologies and advanced cleaning procedures.
  • •Assist with monthly housekeeping scheduling and shifting procedures so areas under responsibility are left unattended.
  • •Coordinate supplies of chemicals/materials, check housekeeping electrical equipment, coordinate with maintenance for defective units, and report incidents to the Manager of General Services.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervisory roles for not less than 50 personnel.
  • •Experience in hospital housekeeping.
  • •College graduate (any course).
  • •Certificate of training in any hospital institution for related job is desirable.
  • •Ability to communicate in English and Arabic; computer literacy in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
